Holiday Inn, Malacca

We were in Malacca during the school holidays.. its was a spur of the moment plan to drive down to my second favorite place.. Almost all the hotels were finally book.. even the budget hotels were full.. I then realised Holiday Inn just recently opened so i thought we give that a try..

And yay! they had a room but only for 1 night.. it was good enough.. :)

This was my first time at Holiday Inn.. and i gotta say i was impressed.. for a rate like RM350++ we manage to get a family room with 1 queen sized bed and 1 single bed.. The room was spacious and very well furnished..

I especially like the fact that the bathroom treats were straight from the resident spa at Holiday Inn - Teatree Spa.. The mirror was huge and clean and everything was well prepared, ie: towels, toilet paper and everything was very very clean.. I've had my share of rundown toilets and believe me, its not pretty..

By the time we arrived was already late evening and having things to do in Malacca town didn't really permit me to really take a walk around the hotel.. My cousin however said they had a huge and beautiful pool.. i guess you have to go there to fins out.. :P

So when we got back.. totally hungry! we called in for room service :) I had pasta, my mum had the sandwich and my cousin ordered a chicken teriyaki dish, i think.. all the 3 dishes looked absolutely awesome and taste really good..

Plus, the service was really really fast.. I had just filled up the tub with bubbles and the food had arrive.. Being hungry, i choose the food before the bath :)
